Why can’t I find my reference?
The reference may be mistyped, expired, not shared, or issued by another provider. SAFE FLIGHT internal demo references begin SF-D-. A genuine airline code must be checked with its issuing provider.
Why is flight tracking unavailable?
Live tracking needs a configured provider credential and a plan that covers your flight and date. A provider may also have delayed or missing reports. We never fill these gaps with fabricated data.
Can someone track a passenger with a flight number?
No. Compatible flight trackers show aircraft and flight operations. They do not identify who is onboard.
Can I book without paying here?
SAFE FLIGHT collects no payments. Genuine bookings are not enabled in this version; no demo itinerary is confirmed or valid for travel. Provider payment requirements must be handled by the provider.
How long are demo references available?
Demo lookup access expires after 30 days. Built-in storage records need an owner-operated purge for physical deletion; expiration is not a claim that stored data has been erased.
Provider availability
Flight search uses Duffel production offers, with a fresh price and availability check when an offer is selected. Tracking uses Aviationstack. Results depend on provider credentials, coverage and your dates; no matching offers means no availability was returned, not that a route is guaranteed to exist. Test-mode fares are excluded from flight search. Secure genuine reservation storage and order creation are not enabled, so real passenger details and booking confirmations remain disabled.
For the site owner: set a production DUFFEL_ACCESS_TOKEN in the editor’s Secrets panel. It stays on the backend, never in the browser. Provider approval and airline coverage determine which live offers can be returned. Tracking continues to use AVIATIONSTACK_ACCESS_KEY separately.
