Privacy & Sharing
Share the journey. Keep control.
SAFE FLIGHT uses explicit sharing choices for limited demonstration itineraries and does not collect genuine passenger information in this version.
What is saved
Demo records contain a fictional traveler selection, illustrative flights and airports, travel dates, an internal random reference, a hashed management key, timestamps and sharing preference. They contain no real passenger details, phone numbers, email addresses, dates of birth, passport information or payment details.
Who can see a shared summary
The normal reference lookup shows the fictional name, route, dates, airline, flight number and clearly labeled demo status only after sharing consent. Anyone with the reference can use that lookup when sharing is enabled. The private management key is required for a private lookup or changing sharing preferences through this website.
Revoke sharing
Use Retrieve a Booking with the reference and management key. Revocation blocks subsequent normal shared lookups; it cannot retract files, screenshots or copied summaries.
Storage and its limits
Demonstration records are saved in the app’s built-in shared key-value store, not only in your browser. Shared storage is visitor-writable and is not an access-controlled passenger records database. Browser and server validation protect the normal demo flow but must not be treated as production security. Never put real passenger details into demonstration records.
Retention
Demo references expire for lookup 30 days after creation. Expiration does not physically erase shared storage. An owner-operated deletion process is required to purge retained examples.
Real bookings and verification
Genuine reservation creation is disabled until a secure database, server-enforced access controls, durable rate limiting, and a booking provider are configured and tested. Demo records have no airline confirmation or official provider booking reference. Live reservation verification is unavailable.
External services
Search and tracking requests may be processed by a configured external flight provider. External tracker links take you to that service, which has its own privacy policy. A flight number reveals flight operations, not passenger identity.
Device preferences
Only the light or dark theme preference is saved in browser local storage. Booking records and management keys are not stored there. Keep the management key in your downloaded file or another private place.
